April 27, 2021

Dear Parishioners,
Greetings to everyone of you from our Risen Lord! As we continue our celebration of Easter Season, I'd like to share with you some updates from the Diocese about our journey life during the pandemic in our churches. And I encourage you in the coming weeks to again emphasize Jesus's invitation to receive Him in the Eucharist. He is still in our churches waiting for us to share with us Himself again. Even we can do more for Him and for His invitation.

Here are the new updates:

  • All the doors in our Church will be open until Mass begins, then for security the side doors will be locked.
  • The Diocese told us to remove the tapes blocking pews-what we did in the beginning of Advent last December-to allow the people to monitor their social distance which is only 3 feet between them.
  • Please continue to wear a mask because we do not know if or when it will become an option.
  • Cantors and choirs have permission to lead congregational singing.

My dear parishioners - Although the changes are few the important news is JESUS'S INVITATION to each and everyone of us to come worship Him but most of all to receive the Holy Communion – which is Jesus alive in our hearts! And with Him go out to the world to our homes, to our workplaces, to our brothers and sisters and try with Him to change the difficult situation with which we have and live in right now.

“Peace be with you” – the first greeting to the apostles after Jesus' resurrection, make on these days your own. With Jesus and Peace in our hearts and with each other we can change many things.

Sincerely in Christ,
Fr. Andrzej
